April 7, 2011Bosten still has a hard time saying goodbye to us when we leave for work, especially Danny in the early morning. He starts whining even when Danny puts his work clothes on. He's so smart. It breaks my heart when he cries though. Danny didn't want to leave for work today because of it. After I took him outside and fed him a little bit, he decided to play with Daddy's shoes. I'm so glad they get along so well.
I accidentally stumbled over Jayla today. She whimpered and ran away from me. I felt so bad. I held her and stroked her and kissed her. I knew she would be fine, but I still felt horrible! One thing about dogs: they spoil us humans with unconditional love. It doesn't matter how much you discipline them or trip over them, five minutes later, they're ready to cuddle and lick again.
I love that Bosten is becoming so familiar with me that he gets excited when I come home from work. I came home for dinner break tonight, Danny was outside with the dogs trying to get them to do their business, and as soon as they saw me, they came running. It's always a good feeling knowing your pet gets happy and excited to see you.
