I know, I know. It's been awhile. It's been awhile since I've been on Internet period. We tried to get Internet activated yesterday but AT&T is still busy with the transfer.
Today, Andrea and I could finally give the pups a bath. We wanted to be able to bathe both of them so they could kind of get used to it together. Bosten did pretty good, but he did not like it at all! Not even when I combed his fur, which was Sparkie's favorite part. But he looked and smelt so much better afterwards.
I was not in the bathroom when Andrea washed Jayla, but she must have splashed around quite a bit. Andrea came out covered in water spots.
They still have accidents inside. I have no idea what to do. Mom suggested the pee pads again, but I don't want to resort to that. I think that would make it worse, not to mention permanent. They both bark every now and then when they need to go outside. We wish they would do that every time!
Yesterday, Andrea bought a dog carrier. It's pretty big, but it doesn't fit both of them comfortably so I think she's just going to keep it for Jayla. I will maybe find something else (more manly) for Bosten.
Tomorrow, they will be over at Mom and Dad's with me for Mother's Day!

Wanna treat?
May 1, 2011
Bosten has finally caught on to the word "treat" now so we're hoping this will help them with the training. They are figuring out that if they do their jobs outside, they will get a treat. Here's hoping it will work! Mom's worried we will have to settle for the puppy pee pads, but we think that will deter their training even more, thinking of it as a security blanket.
Andrea took a video of them while they were at the parents' house. I will upload it later!
Bosten had the hiccups for the first time (that I know of) tonight, and he did not like them one bit! I could tell he was nervous because he came and sat right on my neck, which he does sporadically, but whenever he hiccuped, he would readjust himself. Luckily he didn't have them long.
